The Samsung SyncMaster FX2490HD is a 24” LED backlit display released in August 2010 as the flagship model to the SyncMaster 90 series. As well as providing a full 1080p resolution with an ultra-fast 5ms response time, the display also hosts an integrated TV tuner for using the monitor as a television.

Featured are two HDMI inputs, a conventional D-Sub connection and a Europe-only SCART jack. As for the audio, the FX2490HD offers 7.1-channel audio playback with Dolby Digital and DTS. Additional features include support for Picture-in-Picture (PiP) (typically found only on actual televisions), a USB jack for viewing flash drive content, and Touch of Color design.
