Samsung SyncMaster F2380

$350.00 Released June, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Affordable price for a non TN panel. Very nice blacks. Amazing contrast.

The Cons:Viewing angles, while good - are evidently smaller than would normally appear, darker details are only picked up at certain angles. "black crush" causes low level details to be lost. Buzzes like most cheap monitors (under a certain level of brightness).

The Samsung SyncMaster F2380 is a mid-line 23" 16:9 widescreen LCD computer monitor and was the first from Samsung to feature cPVA technology. cPVA offers a wider range of colors, higher aspect ratios, and faster response times than standard monitors.

The F2380 supports up to 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, 3000:1 static contrast ratio, and an 8 ms response time to reduce blurring effects in high movement scenes in video and gaming programs. The monitor is HDMI (DVI) compatible and has a wide viewing angle for multiple people around the screen. The black finish of the monitor also includes a 2.5 mm inner screen depth to reduce light reflections on the screen.
