Samsung SyncMaster BX2250

$250.00 Released June, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Great picture quality and looks.

The Samsung SyncMaster BX2250 is one of two LED backlit, 1080p monitors (BX2235, BX2250) released in summer 2010 as smaller counterparts to the SyncMaster BX2335 and BX2350 models. Omar: I think the brightness would be an issue if you're sitting really close to it. I had a Samsung monitor for work and did find the brightness pretty intense for staring at it 8+ hours a day. However, if you're sitting back playing 360 games, then the extra brightness would actually be a good thing. Make it easier to see, particularly in the daytime. Dec 13, 10

Yale: yeah, it depends where you have it. If you have a very bright room with big windows and lots of daylight, or very bright lights, your eyes would be fine, and actually prefer a very bright monitor. Otherwise you'd be straining them in a dark, or with low output lighting - even if it seems bright enough in the room. Still I would think this monitor had brightness control haha. I guess that doesn't always work, currently use my 2209WA at 0 brightness, and it's *just* right - any higher and I'd have strain. Dec 13, 10
