Samsung's SyncMaster 2494SW monitor is a mid-range flat-panel LCD monitor, with a 24" widescreen display. It has a dynamic contrast ratio of 50 000:1, and is capable of displaying full 1080p HD images.

This monitor is very similar to the 2494HM model, the main difference being that this one lacks the HDMI input on the back. This model does, however, use slightly less energy and passes the TCO 3 standard of eco-friendly products. It has a 5 ms response time to minimize blurring, and built-in aspect ratio controls to limit unnecessary stretching of images to fit the widescreen. This monitor also features Samsung's MagicBright, MagicColour and MagicTune automatic enhancement settings that regulate color, contrast ratios and gamma correction to enhance picture quality.
