The Cons:Cheap TN panel - affordable price at the expense of viewing angles and colour quality. Not that fast for a TN panel - better monitors out there for fast gaming. Annoying backlight buzz below 88% brightness.

 Samsung's SyncMaster 2494HM monitor is a mid-range flat-panel LCD monitor, with a 24" widescreen display. It has a dynamic contrast ratio of 50 000:1, and is capable of displaying full 1080p HD images.

It has a 5 ms response time to minimize blurring, and built-in aspect ratio controls to limit unnecessary stretching of images to fit the widescreen. The rear panel also has an HDMI port to allow for use with a Blu-Ray or gaming device. This monitor also features Samsung's MagicBright, MagicColour and MagicTune automatic enhancement settings that regulate color, contrast ratios and gamma correction to enhance picture quality.
