 The SyncMaster 2043SWX is a flat-panel 20" widescreen monitor from Samsung. It uses LCD lighting and has a very thin profile, with a thin and attractive bezel design. This display emphasizes energy efficiency, as it uses 40 to 50% less power than older Samsung models.

It has a dynamic contrast ratio of 15 000:1, and has Samsung's "MagicBright" and "MagicColour" which optimize contrast, brightness and gamma correction. The response time of 5 ms is also faster than some of Samsung's previous 20" models. Other features include multi-screen software, a customizable button, automatic off timer, and several color preset modes. On its included stand, the monitor can swivel and tilt.
