This technology creates an optimal viewing tool for teaching, using 3D modelling or playing the latest video games. Users can set up a shortcut key to easily swith between 2D and 3D viewing. It's native resolutioni is 1680x1050, with 300 cd/m2 brightness and a 20,000:1 contrast ratio. There is a 3ms response time in 3D and a 5ms response time in 2D.
The Samsung 2233RZ in conjunction with the NVIDIA software automatically converts over 350 games to stereoscopic 3D, without the need of special game patches. To fully experience this 3D display, the user must wear high-tech active shutter glasses with top-of-the-line optics to give flicker free 3D gaming at 60Hz per eye. The glasses are designed to fit over perscription glasses, are charged via USB which lasts a week without recharge, and are designed to shutdown automatically after 10 minutes when not in use. For standard 2D, this widescreen monitor is capable of displaying 5:4 and 4:3 images with accurate aspect ratios without enlargement or distortion.
