Philips 243E2SB/27

$350.00 Released January, 2010

Product Shot 1The Philips 243E2SB/27 is a 24” TFT-LCD released as a counterpart to the 240B1CB/27. It’s not as environmentally friendly or energy efficient, but it does provide an improved display experience via a SmartContrast ratio of 500,000:1; SmartImage Lite technology for optimized color saturation and sharpness; and the ability to quickly switch between aspect ratios to better accommodate the content currently on the screen.

Like its peer, the display offers a 1920x1200 optimum resolution, not to mention DVI & VGA connectivity. Unfortunately the 243E2SB/27 does sacrifice its predecessor’s USB port, which was done so that the monitor can retain the same price as its counterpart.
