It has a 16:9 aspect ratio which makes it deal for viewing movies in their original formats. The display can be optimized for movies, photos, or games with the Quick View mode. Creysol: #hp_w2338h Sadly... I see a lot of reviews where people rate themselves as computer savy and then slam a component for their lack of knowledge. This has been an excellent monitor... probably because I understand how to set the aspect ratios when I install a television or monitor for the applications I intend to use. I don't understand complaints that are addressed in the owner's manual... even if you have to go online to download it because the seller lost it or you got a discount for an OEM plain or openbox.
