HP w1907
$160.00
Released January, 2007
The Pros:Stylish aesthetic, looks nicer than typical flat black models. Downloadable image adjustment software works well and is much easier than adjusting with buttons. High quality colour reproduction, especially for this price point.
The Cons:Monitor is set low on its stand and height cannot be adjusted. Integrated speakers are weak and sound tinny. Port locations are in awkward locations, very difficult to connect audio cables.

This design makes the w1907 ideal for multimedia, including viewing video, photo editing and gaming. The contrast ratio is rated at 1000:1, meaning users will see distinct blacks and whites along with its 5-millisecond response time, which alleviates blurring with fast moving imagery. This monitor can display both digital and analog content using the DVI-D (with HDCP) or VGA port, respectively. Other features include two 2-watt integrated speakers and low energy usage with Energy Star compliance. Users looking for a larger screen should look at the other monitors in the series; the w2007 and the w2207h.
