HP Compaq L2105tm
$299.00
Released October, 2009
The Pros:Full 1080p resolution. Optical sensors pick up your finger movements meaning you don't have to fully touch your display's surface to register input. Full multitouch - allows the display to register multiple inputs at once, allowing enhanced software to utilize full hand gestures instead of simple single pointer input.
The Cons:Optical sensors instead of true capacitive / resistive touch technology mean accidental points can be registered as input. Not logical to use multitouch on a full upright display - not ergonomic or intuitive whatsoever compared to more established input devices. Doesn't always respond to multitouch input.
