The contrast ratio is rated at 1000:1, meaning users will see distinct blacks and whites along with its 5-millisecond response time, which alleviates blurring with fast moving imagery. Another feature is the hard anti-glare coating on the screen, which reduces unwanted reflections from nearby lighting. The Hi221DBP can display both analog and digital content using the VGA or DVI-D (HDCP) connection, respectively. Other features include two 1-watt integrated speakers and low energy usage with Energy Star compliance. Users looking for an entry-level LCD monitor designed with general use in mind should find the HANNS-G Hi221DPB more than suitable.
