This design makes the FHD2401 ideal for multimedia, including viewing video, photo editing and gaming. The contrast ratio is rated at 2000:1, meaning users will see distinct blacks and whites along with its 2-millisecond response time, which alleviates blurring with fast moving imagery. This monitor can display both digital and analog content using the DVI-D (with HDCP) or VGA port, respectively. HDMI input is also accepted, allowing for the monitor to be used as a full 1080p compliant HDTV. Other features include picture-in-picture with user-adjustable video transparency, plus Energy Star compliance. Users looking for a smaller screen should look at the other monitors in the series; the HD1900 or the HD2201.
