Dell SX2210
$259.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Built-in webcam works flawlessly, no lost frames or compatibility issues. Setup and installation is simple enough for entry-level users. Built to last, will still be bright and responsive after years of use.
The Cons:Blacks are a little washed out, even with some adjusting can't quite get deep black levels. Webcam software is very basic, has no capture functions and is difficult to tweak. Facial recognition software is difficult to get working.
The Dell SX2210 monitor is a full HD monitor with a speedy 2-millisecond response time. It makes full use of Dell's TrueLife technology which brings out the darkest of the blacks and sharpens the text for easier reading.
