Dell ST2420

The ST2420 is one of six LED-backlit LCD monitors released into the Studio Line (ST) in late 2010. Credited as an ‘aggressive attempt’ to expand their position in the consumer electronic market, Dell has designed all six specifically for a better viewing experience and enhanced digital consumption.

The largest in the batch of releases, the ST2420 offers a full 24” experience with a 1080p resolution and 8M:1 contrast ratio. There’s also a 250cd/m2 brightness level and support for 16.7 million colors. This all adds up to enhanced video quality with enriched colors and blacks. Also included are three connectivity options, including VGA, DVI, and even HDMI—meaning the unit can receive content from gaming consoles.
