Dell Professional P190S

$240.00 Released July, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:One of few 4:3 aspect ratio monitors left on the market, 1280x1024 resolution provides plenty of screen estate. Height adjustment works well, should reduce the need of a monitor stand or mount. Built-in 4 port USB hub is convenient, reduces desk clutter.

The Cons:Poor viewing angles in both directions, at the price point users should invest a but more in Dell's more expensive models with either PVA and IPS panels (Ultrasharp line). Does not necessarily fit the advertised VESA mount. Lower brightness and contrast ratio than similarly priced widescreen monitors from Dell.

The Dell Professional P190S is a flat panel monitor that operates at a 1280x1024 resolution. It is not widescreen, but opts for the older 4:3 aspect ratio. It has a lower contrast ratio than most modern monitors, and the ratio is static, rather than dynamic.
