The first of two Dell G2 LCD displays, the Dell G2210 features a 22” display with a maximum resolution of 1680x1050, not to mention a contrast ration of 1000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 1000000:1. In addition, the G2210 features a built-in ambient light sensor that responds to surrounding brightness by automatically adjusting screen brightness levels, a ‘PowerNap’ screensaver application that dims the monitor to a minimum brightness or ‘sleep mode’ when requested, a running power consumption of 18W, and a sleep-mode power consumption of only 0.15W. The G2210 also boasts both a DVI-D and a VGA (D-Sub) connector, not to mention a 5ms black-to-white response time. The Dell G2210 retails for $279.99.
