D-Link SideStage
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Powered by your PC - no need to use another plug. Light and small, can easily sit above or beside a main monitor. Easily transportable and used with a laptop.
The Cons:Will probably be too expensive - full sized screens are relatively inexpensive these days (19"+ can be found for less than $150). Uses up a USB port.
Announced at CES 2009, the SideStage is a 7-inch monitor from D-Link. With a resolution of 800x480px, the SideStage can be used either portrait or landscape mode. Designed with multitaskers in mind, the 7" monitor is meant as a secondary display - for instant messaging, video-conferencing, widgets or to house large toolbars for professional users.
