AOC 2436Vw

$179.99 Released August, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Setup requires no tools, screen easily snaps tight to the base. Saves energy by going to sleep if connection is accidentally lost, unlike "no signal" display on many other monitors. Very low instances of blurring even at high resolutions.

The Cons:Menu does not have any labels/words, so users must navigate via icons. Viewing angle is not very wide compared to many other monitors. Drivers affecting brightness adjustment must be installed manually.

The AOC 2436Vw is a mid-cost twenty-four inch computer monitor that can also be used as a video display (thanks to its DVI-HDCP digital input). With a 1920 x 1080 resolution, this monitor can display 1080p HD content.

The 60000:1 dynamic contrast ratio helps to ensure depth for the over sixteen million supported colors. The five millisecond response time helps to ensure that fast video or gaming will not blur or streak by. This model differs from the higher cost 2436Vh model in that the 2436Vh is equipped with an HDMI input (for higher quality video output than the DVI-HDCP input will allows), and has a pair of 1.5 watt speakers built in.
