Acer X203H

$200.00 Released November, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Affordable price. 16:9 aspect ratio is ideal for watching media. HDCP support via DVI port.

The Cons:No HDMI port. TN panel - cheap and fast at the expense of colour depth and viewing angles. 16:9 aspect ratio is poor for web browsing and most office productivity software (except for excel).

The Acer X203H is a 20" widescreen LCD monitor from Acer's mid-range Excel Series.  The monitor features a 1600 x 900 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio to provide undistorted widescreen graphics.

It also has a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, and includes both VGA and DVI connectors.  For more information see the full Acer Excel Series report. Now, for that price don't expect to see miracles. It will deliver pretty decent quality graphics, but if you are looking to save money and get the best out of it look elsewhere. On the other hand, if what you need is a monitor that will perform well for every day tasks, the X203H is the one for you.
