The response time is rated at 2ms, while the refresh rate is rated at 75Hz. This configuration makes this monitor ideal for high-motion gaming, given its lower than average response time. Physically, the display is encased in a glossy black bezel. Video inputs include one VGA port and one DVI port. HDCP is supported over the digital connection for DRM-protected content. For the energy conscious, users will be glad to know the Acer P244W uses approximately 30 watts of power, and less than 1 watt when idle.
