Acer AL2416WS LCD Monitor

Acer brings in a high definition widescreen display suitable for business professionals. Acer AL2416WS is a 24 inches LCD monitor competing the Dell 24 inches monitor model. However the 1,920 x 1,200 native resolution of the screen offers sharp pictures.

Design

Acer has designed the screen with silver bezel coating and at the bottom of the screen you can find a small panel for controls and a power button. The monitor at the outset looks modern. The Vesa mounting slots offer the convenience to hang the monitor on walls.

Feature

The monitor sports an impressive viewing angle with contrasting colours and brightness. The response time or the frequency rate is 6ms and the contrast ratio is 1000:1, which is ample for a LCD monitor.

Acer AL2416WS allows for fine adjustments with the OSD that helps to manage the brightness and contrast, focus and pixel clock. Even the vertical and horizontal position can be adjusted. Height of the monitor cannot be altered, while it can be tilted backward and forward on its stand.

Connectivity

With a single D-Sub connector and VGA, AL2416WS offers adequate connectivity options. However, the lack of DVI is a drawback.
